In celebration of St. Andrews holding its Old Course Reversal, April 4-7, when golfers get to essentially play the fabled course backward, Toptracer has created a competition at its partner ranges globally through April 30.
RELATED: A reversal of the Old Course
Toptracer has recreated the course virtually and will be accessible to 1,250 Toptracer-powered range sites worldwide during April, making this somewhat lost golf course available for more players to experience. Players can compete in the virtual golf game mode on The Old Course Reversed and the player with the lowest gross score will win a tee time for two on the actual Old Course Reversed in 2026. To enter, golfers can visit any Toptracer Range to register and play through Wednesday, April 30. Or click here for more information.

“It’s an incredible privilege to exclusively offer golfers worldwide access to one of the most unique experiences at golf’s most iconic destination,” says Scott Blevins, general manager at Toptracer. “We believe the appeal of this experience will attract new players and drive repeat visits to our customers’ facilities.”

EQUIPMENT DROPS

Breakthrough Golf Technology has introduced the Paradox putter, a zero-torque putter where the center of gravity aligns directly under the shaft. The putter achieves swing balance through Principal Axis alignment and acts similar to how a car alignment would it keeping the vehicle straight and smooth.
“Every putt tells you something- from the softest touch to your hardest roll,” says Barney Adams, CEO of Breakthrough Golf. “Paradox locks in center strikes, so you’re dialing in distance control with every roll. Because in putting, nothing matters more.”
The putter is center-shafted and features a mid-size non-taper grip with adjustable lie and loft. The putter retails for $699.99.
In an age when new product launches come more frequently than you might expect, Srixon turned back the clock recently. When the company announced the launch of its Q-Star Ultispeed golf ball the occasion marked the first time since the Q-Star Tour in 2017 that Srixon was introducing a new ball.
Originally introduced in Japan, Q-Star Ultispeed is now set to launch in North America after undergoing significant advancements from its predecessors, incorporating Srixon’s tour-proven technology into all three layers. With its three-piece construction, 338 speed dimple pattern and a soft, thin cover, Q-Star Ultispeed is Srixon’s longest golf ball yet.
The ball retails for $29.99 per dozen.

Inspired by the Masters, Asics has unveiled its limited-edition Japan S golf shoe, which features a white and jasper green colorway to pay tribute to Augusta National Golf Club’s iconic colors. The shoe is available in men’s sizing only (sizes 9 to 12) and retails for $99.99.
