BOISE, Idaho (Feb. 11, 2025) – The Club at SpurWing, located in Meridian, Idaho, an upscale and fast-growing suburb of Boise, has joined Concert Golf Partners’ portfolio of upscale private clubs.
Located approximately 12 miles from Boise State University, and led by longtime owner and local real estate developer, the Sundance Company, The Club at SpurWing is the 38th premier club nationwide to choose the Concert family of clubs; the first in Idaho; and the third with a backdrop of the Rocky Mountains—joining both Hiwan Golf Club and The Ranch Country Club, both near Denver.
The only purely private club ownership company within the golf industry, Concert Golf Partners is a boutique club hospitality company that invests its own capital to fund projects and build new amenities. Based near Orlando, Concert Golf is widely regarded as the industry’s “go-to” private club expert. Concert is often praised for the positive halo effect its portfolio has on the value of homes in the surrounding communities for many of its elite clubs across America.

As the only premier private club community in the Treasure Valley, The Club at SpurWing offers every opportunity for diversion. Designed by Myron Tucker, SpurWing is home to an 18-hole Championship Course that at 7,300 yards, is the longest private course in the region. The scenic course expands along an upland ridge that delivers spectacular views of both Idaho’s Front Range and the lowland river forest.
The course is contoured within 230 acres of lakes, meadows, and streams. SpurWing’s signature hole, No. 6, tees off from an elevated plateau down into the valley, with breathtaking views of the snow-capped Boise Mountains.
The captivating landscape of SpurWing makes the surrounding golf club community a natural destination to call home. The town of Meridian is the fourth fastest-growing city in the United States, and the second-most populous city in Idaho, alongside Boise. A destination for young families and a hub for high-tech professionals, the population of Meridian has increased more than 55 percent over a 10-year span, according to U.S. Census data.
“What stands out about The Club at SpurWing is not only the spectacular views of the mountains, but also the incredible camaraderie of its passionate membership,” said Concert Golf Partners Senior Vice President Jordan Peace. “SpurWing’s members have an inspiring love and affinity for their club that enables its social culture to represent the heart and soul of the Meridian community. As Concert Golf continues to strategically grow our portfolio, we will strive to partner with clubs that have memberships that emulate the spirit of The Club at SpurWing.”
SpurWing promotes a unique outdoor lifestyle that embodies the spirit of its active membership. Members often embark on a daily doubleheader that combines the thrills and excitement of the Gem State—skiing at the nearby Bogus Basin Mountain Resort and Ski Lodge in the morning; and then enjoying golf and the amenities of the Club at SpurWing in the afternoon.
The club also features a 9-hole, par-3 Challenge Course designed by former PGA Tour player Steve Pate, which can offer two sets of tees and pins on each hole, designed to appeal to all skill levels.
A vibrant family-oriented, full-service club, SpurWing’s vast amenities mix tradition with novelty, and include a golf practice facility, fitness center, five-lane swimming pool, and three outdoor tennis/pickleball courts. The Club also features both indoor and outdoor event facilities, with the Gold Tee dining room seating approximately 120 guests.
Concert sets the standard for impeccable quality by continually elevating the stature of both its existing clubs and acquisitions, so that its members can access the finest private clubs and enjoy one-of-a-kind experiences. This includes an option for reciprocal access at Concert Golf clubs from coast-to-coast.
“When Concert Golf Partners approached us about acquiring the Club at SpurWing, we had never considered selling the Club,” said co-owner, Chris Anderson, who leads Sundance Company real estate development in Idaho with his brother, Travis Anderson. “Once we got to know Concert Golf and how they invest heavily in their Clubs, we became convinced that they’re the right partner to take the Club at SpurWing to the next level, while protecting and elevating our community’s home values. I look forward to both continuing my membership at SpurWing and playing the impressive golf courses throughout the Concert portfolio.”
Recent acquisitions by Concert Golf include: Penn Oaks Golf Club (near Philadelphia); The Georgia Club (near Athens, Ga.); Golf Club of the Everglades (Naples, Fla.); TPC Jasna Polana (Princeton, N.J.); and The Club at Pasadera (Monterey, Calif.)
