Streamsong Golf Resort proudly announces the development of its fifth golf course, designed by renowned architect David McLay Kidd. Joining the esteemed roster of Coore & Crenshaw, Tom Doak, and Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner, the new course will begin construction in February 2025. Positioned between Streamsong Black and Red, it will showcase the unique and rugged Florida landscape with dramatic dunes and elevation changes.
Kidd, celebrated for his work at Bandon Dunes, Mammoth Dunes, and The Castle Course at St. Andrews, expressed his excitement: “To be included in that group of architects requires my team and I to do something exceptional. That opportunity both excites me and makes me nervous, but in a good way. My team and I are so excited to add to the history of a place so young and yet so rooted in a tradition of exceptional golf architecture.”
Streamsong continues to expand as a premier golf destination. Alongside its Top 40-ranked courses—Red, Blue, and Black—the resort introduced The Chain and The Bucket in 2024, two unique short and putting courses designed by Coore & Crenshaw, which have already become must-play experiences.
Stay tuned for updates on the course name and opening date.
