Thailand moves to digital entry for foreign visitors – Golfasian

Effective May 1, 2025, Thailand will implement the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC), replacing the traditional TM6 paper form for all non-Thai nationals. Travelers must complete the TDAC online within 72 hours before arrival by air, land, or sea.

This update directly supports the growth of golf tourism by streamlining entry and reducing time spent at immigration checkpoints. For those planning golf travel from Western markets, the TDAC ensures smoother arrivals, helping maintain tight schedules for airport pickups, tee times, and resort check-ins.

As Thailand continues to attract high-value golf travelers from Europe, North America, and Australia, a modernized entry system adds confidence and efficiency to the overall experience. It strengthens Thailand’s position as a leading golf destination in Southeast Asia. In key regions such as Hua Hin, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Pattaya, simplified arrivals provide a distinct advantage in itinerary planning.
